Almeda University Resources

Almeda University is obsessed with providing a learning environment that is up to snuff with the highest of standards. The university maintains membership and accreditation from a few different respected certifying organizations, which makes for a great opportunity for anyone looking to acquire an online degree through one of their programs.

Committee for Distance Education Accreditation

The CDEA is the first of Almeda University's accrediting institutes. CDEA says it is committed to "high quality educational values, customer service and business practices." The organization specializes in global universities that are open to all and focus on long-distance learning. They accredit colleges, universities, schools and private institutions.

The Association for Online Academic Excellence

A privatized, professional accrediting organization, the Association for Online Academic Excellence (AOAEX) gives employers a tool through which their staff can acquire acceptable college degrees that are achieved through means that are untraditional. Universities and colleges operating under AOAEX accreditation aim to deliver qualified degrees to students that meet or surpass those offered by traditional schools.

Interfaith Education Ministries

Certifications of "measurement and evaluation of educational and professional credentials and practices of traditional, nontraditional, religious" and a variety of other internet and long-distance learning programs are provided by the IEM. They are listed in the UNESCO Higher Education Institutions Registry in the U.S. and have been in existence since 1965. UNESCO is the United Nations' educational branch and is recognized by the educational departments of every member country of the Lisbon Convention. Naturally, that includes the United States of America Department of Education.
